Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a Hybrid Oncology Clinical Trial Pre Award Specialist I–III to develop, negotiate, and finalize budgets for faculty-led clinical trials at CU Cancer Center. You will work with sponsors, CRA, and finance staff to ensure compliant, accurate budgets and continuous process improvements.

The role requires coordination across departments, strong budgeting skills, and familiarity with clinical trial budgeting practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in finance, business administration, healthcare or related field.

Responsibilities

• Draft study-specific budgets for oncology clinical trials.
• Negotiate budgets with industry sponsors and review payment terms.
• Collaborate with CRA and finance teams to ensure proper billing and budgeting.
• Train others in pre-award budgeting processes and use of OnCore.
