The University of Kansas Cancer Center is seeking a Clinical Trial Budget Analyst to develop and negotiate budgets for cancer trials and to assist with coverage analyses within the Clinical Trials Office. The role supports the region’s only NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center, enabling access to innovative therapies and trials for patients.

Qualifikationen

• Three years relevant work experience; education can substitute for experience.
• Experience with research/study budgets and research billing operations.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting contracts/documents.

Aufgaben

• Consult with principal investigators and budget manager on new study budgets and amendments.
• Develop and update coverage analyses and clinical trial budgets with stakeholder sign-off.
• Review patient-related costs in informed consent language for budgets.
• Coordinate with KU Hospital, KU Medical Center and KU Cancer Center stakeholders on costing.
• Revise contract payment terms to align with center standards.
• Final review of budget and payment terms in contracts before execution.
• Input budget data into the Clinical Trial Management System (CRIS/Velos).
