Job summary

PGIM, the global asset management business of Prudential Financial, is hiring an Investment Analyst for its Private Credit Secondaries team in New York, NY. The role combines bottom-up credit analysis with portfolio-level investing and transaction structuring across LP-led and GP-led secondary opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in private credit, direct lending, mezzanine investing, credit secondaries or equity secondaries.
• Strong underwriting and financial modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of the investment process — sourcing, due diligence and execution of private credit secondaries transactions, including LP interest acquisitions, GP-leds and structured transactions
• Prepare detailed quantitative and qualitative analyses and investment memoranda under tight time constraints
• Conduct extensive credit analysis and financial modeling of underlying borrowers and funds across private credit asset classes, including direct lending, mezzanine, opportunistic credit and infrastructure
• Actively monitor existing investments, including regular interaction with managers of underlying investments and valuation updates
• Work with the broader team on deal sourcing and fundraising efforts
