Job summary
PAE in New York is seeking a Plumbing Engineer II to join our hybrid office team. You will design plumbing and fire protection layouts under a lead engineer, develop technical specifications, and support project delivery from design through site implementation in a collaborative environment.
Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of plumbing/equipment experience, a bachelor's degree, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of plumbing engineer or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in discipline work or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of plumbing design concepts and ability to communicate technical concepts.
Responsibilities
- Perform AutoCAD/Revit system engineering.
- Design and plan plumbing and fire protection layouts under the direction of a lead engineer.
- Prepare project deliverables with attention to detail and read plans and specifications.
- Develop and edit technical specifications and apply building codes and industry standards.
- Support project lead in developing construction cost options and coordinate with other disciplines.
