Job summary
Partner Company seeks a Senior Associate - Mainframe Infrastructure Engineer based in the United States. You will maintain z/OS-based systems, lead Agile delivery as Scrum Master for infrastructure initiatives, and collaborate with developers, DBAs, schedulers, and infra teams to resolve complex issues.
The role requires strong mainframe skills, SMP/E experience, and excellent communication. Hybrid work from New York, with on-site planning and critical change windows.
Qualifications
- > Strong mainframe knowledge (z/OS, JCL, batch/online processing).
- > Experience with SMP/E and mainframe software installation/maintenance.
- > Scrum Master in Agile environment, preferably for mainframe/infra projects.
- > Excellent communication and cross-team coordination skills.
- > Ability to work in hybrid NY-based setup and participate in on-call rotations.
Responsibilities
- > Provide systems analysis and engineering support for enterprise mainframe environments (z/OS, JCL, batch/online).
- > Manage system software installation/configuration using SMP/E to ensure stability.
- > Monitor performance, identify capacity constraints, and implement solutions.
- > Collaborate with application teams to diagnose and resolve integration issues.
- > Serve as Scrum Master for infrastructure initiatives and facilitate agile ceremonies.
- > Coach teams on Scrum/Agile practices within mainframe projects.
- > Promote transparency and continuous improvement across delivery initiatives.
- > Coordinate with application, DB, scheduling, and infra teams; participate in on-call rotations.
