Friedman Williams seeks a junior Data Privacy & Consumer Litigation Associate in New York, NY. The role involves hands-on experience in consumer protection and data privacy class actions, with opportunities to work closely with partners on complex litigation.

The ideal candidate has strong research and writing skills, 2+ years of relevant experience, and NY Bar admission. Hybrid schedule offers three days in NYC office and two days remote.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2+ years of relevant litigation experience and admission to the New York Bar.
• Experience with complex civil litigation, class actions, consumer protection, or data privacy matters.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.

Responsabilités

• Research and evaluate potential consumer protection, data privacy, and related litigation claims.
• Draft complaints, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal and factual research to support case development and strategy.
• Review terms of service, privacy policies, arbitration provisions, and related agreements.
• Assist in developing litigation strategies and case evaluations.
