Job summary

DV Scibids is the AI‑powered digital campaign activation arm of DoubleVerify. Sr. Data Engineer I in New York is an onsite/hybrid role (3x/week) building backend services and robust data pipelines to power product expansion.

You will integrate external APIs, design reliable ingestion and reconciliation layers, and ensure observability and performance at scale. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in data/backend engineering with strong Python/SQL and cloud experience, plus familiarity with AdTech

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data engineering or backend engineering.
• Strong Python and SQL.
• Experience integrating with external APIs and operating production data.
• Comfort with cloud-native environments and modern engineering practices.
• AdTech/auction-system familiarity is a plus.
• AI-augmented dev style familiarity is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own and build backend services and data pipelines powering product expansion.
• Explore external partner APIs and design ingestion and reconciliation layers.
• Expose internal endpoints for other teams and keep production systems observable and scalable.
