TheGuarantors, a fintech company in NYC, seeks a Data Engineer to build and maintain data pipelines, ensure data quality, and support analytics and ML workflows. Hybrid role based in NYC, collaborative team, and growth-focused environment.

You will design data ingestion, transform data, and contribute to data apps and feature stores while optimizing performance and documenting data flows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field.
• Demonstrated SQL and Python scripting.
• Basic data modeling concepts.
• Experience with data integration/ETL tools.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines to ingest and transform data.
• Monitor and ensure data quality and validation.
• Assist in designing and maintaining data warehousing solutions.
• Automate routine data engineering tasks for reliability.
• Develop lightweight data apps for ML interfaces and quick analysis.
• Optimize parts of the data stack to reduce processing times.
• Document data pipelines, processes, and data flows.
• Collaborate with analysts, scientists, and stakeholders to meet data needs.
• Stay current with industry best practices in data engineering.
• Support data models, feature store, and AI/ML workflows.
