Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, journalism or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of professional experience; internships welcome.
• Internship in public relations or communications strongly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Experience with video editing and design software.

Responsibilities

• Be based in the New York City office, on a hybrid schedule (3 days a week).
• Monitor and record external media placements and track campaign metrics.
• Generate and maintain media lists and databases.
• Assist in drafting press materials (press releases, media alerts, etc.).
• Contribute to social media strategy and content creation.
• Research and draft company and executive award submissions.
• Identify new media outlets to expand media relations.
• Create and edit content for the Dow Jones Press Hub.
• Support weekly executive reporting and project timelines.
