Job summary

Octaura LL TradingCo, LLC is building AI-powered platforms for complex financial markets in New York City. The AI Engineer will design, implement, and maintain production-grade backend services that power AI/ML capabilities, collaborating with product managers, software engineers, and data teams.

You will train and deploy models using Python ML frameworks, architect Agentic AI patterns, and ensure scalable data pipelines and robust MLOps practices across the stack.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software engineering experience with backend systems.
• 2+ years of hands-on AI/ML development in Python.
• Experience with ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or XGBoost.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade backend services powering AI/ML capabilities.
• Develop, train, evaluate, and deploy ML models.
• Architect Agentic AI systems and integrate with orchestration frameworks.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and feature engineering workflows.
