You will also scope design-change impacts, support scheduling, and prepare reports for stakeholders. The role requires a Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering background with 10+ years of experience, PWR knowledge, and strong statistics skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering with 10+ years of experience.
• Strong background in design and operation of PWR systems.
• Proficiency in statistics and data analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform uncertainty analysis using NRC-approved Westinghouse Setpoint Methodology (WSM) for AP1000 and other plants.
• Conduct statistical/data analyses of instrument drift and long-term performance projections.
• Ensure surveillance extensions are addressed in setpoint uncertainty analyses.
• Scope and cost-estimate impacts of design changes on existing designs.
• Support Project Management with schedule creation.
• Compose clear reports for internal and external customers.
