Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Sunnyvale, California, is seeking an NPI Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing for Networking’s new product introductions. You will collaborate with Engineering, Program Management and SM&P teams to ensure supplier engagement, quality and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead early supplier engagement and technical sourcing for new product programs, ensuring access to cutting-edge technologies and components. Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and HW Program Management to identify and qualify suppliers capable of supporting advanced product requirements. Drive continuous improvement and adoption of new sourcing strategies, tools, and digital platforms to accelerate time-to-market.
• Customer Centricity: Serve as the primary sourcing focal point in NPI core teams, ensuring supplier performance aligns with customer expectations for quality, responsiveness, and delivery. Proactively manage supplier relationships to resolve issues, mitigate risks, and ensure reliable supply for critical customer programs. Gather and act on feedback from internal and external stakeholders to improve sourcing processes and outcomes.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure supplier compliance with HPE metrics (Technology, Quality, Responsiveness, Delivery, Cost, Geo-diversification, BCP, Cybersecurity). Lead the Materials List Review (MLR) process and manage component-level cost and schedule impacts for assigned NPI programs. Drive accountability for on-time delivery through clear escalation paths and leadership engagement.
• Sustainability: Support supplier compliance with HPE’s sustainability and Net Zero Carbon initiatives, ensuring responsible sourcing and environmental stewardship. Collaborate with suppliers to implement sustainable practices and contribute to HPE’s Living Progress goals.
