Job summary

Occident Wealth Management is seeking an NIL Athlete Liaison to serve as the primary contact for athlete clients, coordinating financial planning, taxes and logistics, while maintaining discretion and a high level of service.

The role requires experience in client liaison, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with athletes and families. Hybrid or remote options may be available based on location and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in a client liaison or account management role, ideally with athletes or sports.
• Strong understanding of financial and administrative processes including taxes, bookkeeping, and LLC setup.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills for a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with athletes and families.
• High discretion, integrity and professionalism handling sensitive information.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; related fields acceptable.
• Willingness to travel and flexibility for irregular hours; hybrid/remote options may apply.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for athletes and their families, coordinating financial and personal needs.
• Coordinate taxes, bookkeeping, bill payments, LLC setup, and relocation logistics.
• Facilitate collaboration between the financial advisor’s team and external providers.
• Develop relationships and act as a trusted resource and advocate for clients.
• Manage athlete schedules, deadlines, and deliverables related to finances and logistics.
• Assist in developing personalized strategies for each athlete’s needs.
• Stay informed on NIL regulations and athlete-related challenges.
• Address issues promptly with professionalism and discretion.
