The Nature Conservancy seeks its next New Mexico State Director to lead the New Mexico Business Unit and partner with colleagues across the Western US and Canada to advance ambitious conservation goals. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum of 7 years of management experience.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams with measurable results.
• Experience working in New Mexico.
• Experience in natural resources and/or the environment.
• Strategic planning and systems thinking for large, complex initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the New Mexico BU, serving as visionary leader, senior manager and ambassador.
• Oversee policy, fundraising and finance leadership within the BU.
• Collaborate with Division-wide leaders and external partners to fundraise and advance priorities.
• Act as primary local spokesperson for TNC and cultivate donor relationships.
• Travel approximately 40% of total time to support leadership opportunities.
