Job summary

The engineer defines guardrails for segmentation, secure connectivity, cloud and multi-cloud networking, and Zero Trust.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of information security, network engineering or security architecture.
• 4+ years setting security standards for enterprise networks.

Responsibilities

• Own network security standards, guardrails and reference architectures; define requirements and published patterns.
• Translate threat intelligence into a control strategy and prioritized changes.
• Define detection requirements across SIEM, NDR, firewall, proxy, DNS, VPN and SASE/SSE.
• Direct risk-informed threat hunting and sponsor hunts with Security Operations.
• Advance Zero Trust and segmentation strategies across IT, cloud, OT and product networks.
• Run a risk-based network control assurance program with evidence and aging management.
