Job summary

Eaton's Corporate Sector division seeks an IT Architect - Network to lead enterprise networking, cloud connectivity, and security architecture across global environments. You will define target-state architectures, roadmaps, standards, and governance to enable cloud-first, hybrid environments.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will partner with fellow architects to advance automated, AI-enabled, self-healing networks while avoiding day-to-day operations and incident management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years designing enterprise network, cloud networking, private wireless, and/or security architectures.
• 3+ years in a senior architect/leadership role.
• Must reside within 50 miles of specified U.S. locations including Raleigh, NC.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal architect for enterprise networking, cloud networking, interconnection, private wireless, and network security.
• Develop and maintain architecture standards, reference architectures, design patterns, roadmaps, and engineering principles.
• Define secure, scalable, resilient network architectures for cloud-first and hybrid-cloud strategies.
• Establish networking frameworks for Azure and OCI, landing zones, hub-and-spoke, routing, DNS, private connectivity.
