Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a Network and Perimeter Security IT Specialist I - Load Balancing to lead enterprise load balancing, firewall, and cloud security efforts across Azure Front Door, PKI, and WAF. You will drive secure design, risk mitigation, and alignment with security policies.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operations teams, with on-call duties and a focus on resilience and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Related university degree OR a two-year technical diploma with 6+ years in network security architecture and enterprise infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in load balancing technologies, cloud security, and enterprise security design.
• Experience with regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise network security architecture, standards, and control frameworks.
• Lead security design for large-scale initiatives including cloud transformations and critical infrastructure.
• Act as trusted advisor on network security risk, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure end-to-end secure solutions.
• Drive lifecycle, vulnerability, and resiliency improvements across network security platforms.
• Influence technology roadmaps and long-term security posture.
• Support design of redundant, high-availability architectures with failover and recovery.
• Manage and maintain load balancer and network security infrastructure, including upgrades and patches.
• Ensure compliance with Enbridge policies across enterprise, SCADA, and control systems.
• Lead and support business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives, including on-call rotation.
