Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Network Engineer for NBCUniversal’s Network Engineering group, based at core production locations on the West Coast (Universal City or DreamWorks Animation). The role builds reliable, scalable network infra for broadcast facilities, with Cisco, Arista, and Palo Alto firewall experience.

Hybrid schedule: four in-office days, competitive USD 75k–95k salary. Responsibilities include deployment, documentation, on-call support, and collaboration with security and cloud teams

Qualifications

• 3+ years configuring, deploying, and supporting multi-vendor network tech including Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto, and F5.
• Experience with AWS and Azure networking (Direct Connect, ExpressRoute).
• Hands-on firewall policy experience with Palo Alto (Panorama).
• On-call rotation for 24x7 production on-air network infra.
• Ability to document diagrams and technical specs.
• Occasional travel for projects and remote event support.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support network infrastructure for NBCUniversal's production facilities.
• Maintain firewall policies and network security posture.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and diagrams.
• Collaborate with cloud, security, and operations teams.
