The role covers LAN/WAN/WLAN/VPN/SD‑WAN, security devices, AD/Azure, Hyper‑V, storage, and data center operations, with after‑hours support and occasional travel. A bachelor’s in IT or equivalent experience is required, with 5+ years in enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years networking engineering in enterprise environments.
• Experience with data center infrastructure.
• Experience with cloud networking such as Azure.
• Legal environment experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and SD‑WAN environments.
• Configure and manage network hardware including Cisco switches, Palo Alto firewalls, NetScaler load balancers, Meraki APs.
• Monitor network and system performance; troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and bandwidth issues.
• Provide secondary support for Exchange Online email including Mimecast security.
• Manage storage infrastructure (HPE Alletra, StoreOnce, Dell Compellent, Synology).
• Support Active Directory and domain services (DNS, DHCP, GPOs).
• Support Azure environment, including AD Entra synchronization, MFA, and Enterprise Applications.
• Support Windows servers and Hyper‑V, including clustering and replication.
• Administer Veeam backup/recovery for on‑prem and cloud.
• Hands‑on data center support: installation, racking, stacking, decommissioning of equipment.
• Monitor data center power, UPS, rack power, and cooling.
• Participate in upgrades and network configuration changes for applications and development projects.
• Oversee security products and participate in testing/remediation.
• Assist management with project recommendations and budgeting.
• Perform firmware upgrades, patch management, and capacity planning.
• Create and update technical documentation in Visio, Excel, Word.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
