Job summary

BAMM Staffing is seeking a Network Engineer to support, maintain, and enhance a global enterprise network infrastructure in a hybrid NYC environment. The role covers day-to-day operations, security administration, upgrades, and troubleshooting across data centers, cloud, and offices.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of enterprise networking experience, strong Cisco/Catalyst knowledge, firewall and security expertise, and the ability to collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and Technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of enterprise networking experience.
• Experience with enterprise routing, switching, and wireless environments.
• Experience with enterprise firewall technologies and network security concepts.
• Knowledge of BGP/EIGRP routing protocols.
• Experience with Cisco solutions including Catalyst switching and ISE Client.
• Experience with VLANs, STP, port channels, and L2/L3 troubleshooting.
• Certificate management and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and maintains enterprise network operations across data center, cloud, and office environments.
• Performs health checks, analyzes logs, and troubleshoots performance issues.
• Manages firewall policies, VPN configurations, and access controls.
• Supports network upgrades, change management, and lifecycle planning.
• Configures network hardware (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless APs) and cloud connectivity.
• Assists in disaster recovery, incident response, and on-call rotation.
