Job summary

Evolv Technology seeks a Network & Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and defend our network infrastructure and security tooling. You will own Evolv's network and security posture, from firewalls to identity governance and threat detection, reporting to the Senior Director of Cybersecurity & Technology.

You will lead efforts with IT, Legal/Compliance, and R&D, becoming the SME on network security, compliance tooling, and MDR relationships while maturing Evolv's security program for

Qualifications

• Knowledge of network security and compliance tooling.
• Experience aligning security controls with CIS Controls and NIST CSF.
• Ability to design, implement, and defend network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure: firewalls (Palo Alto), switching (Cisco/Meraki), NAC, VPN/ZTNA.
• Administer identity and access: Okta/Entra ID, CA policies, MFA, lifecycle management.
• Own security tooling and controls: SIEM, EDR, DLP, vulnerability management.
