Job summary

NORC is seeking a technical professional to assist in building and supporting corporate LAN/WAN environments based on Cisco and related technologies. This hybrid role requires in-office presence in the Chicago Loop area with at least six days per month on-site.

The position involves infrastructure projects, security standards, and collaboration with vendors and internal teams to ensure a stable network backbone for NORC’s operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3 years of enterprise Citrix or Cisco infrastructure experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to company sites.
• Knowledge of the Windows operating system.

Responsibilities

• Support new network infrastructure projects and implementations.
• Assist with security standards and guidelines for production platforms and remote access.
• Coordinate network upgrades and routine maintenance tasks.
• Develop recommendations to upgrade and improve network infrastructure.
• Diagnose and resolve complex network infrastructure problems.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal customers to ensure effective infrastructure.
