Job summary

Setechnical is seeking a Network Administrator for our Buford, GA on-site/hybrid team. This full-time role supports multiple clients of an IT Managed Services firm, maintaining and securing complex network environments.

You will lead and assist junior staff, install and configure routers, switches, VPNs, firewalls, monitor performance, and enforce security controls across local and remote locations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a System Admin, Network Admin or similar role.
• Ability to install, configure and maintain network environments across multiple vendors.
• Strong focus on network security and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support to less experienced team members.
• Solve problems with networks, servers, routers, phones and other devices in the IT environment.
• Manage IT equipment following best practices to minimize and prevent problems.
• Install, configure and maintain network environments across many vendors, including switches, routers, wireless, VPN, and firewall devices at local and remote locations.
• Ensure security and operational effectiveness of network elements.
• Assess network capacity needs and improvements to enhance performance.
• Utilize monitoring tools to continuously monitor networks and anticipate issues.
• Maintain client networks and provide daily network support.
• Drive the implementation and governance of network security controls within client environments.
• Develop security strategy and standards and drive implementations.
