SanMar- External is seeking a Network Administrator to support enterprise LAN/WAN environments across multiple sites. You will analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network issues, configure and deploy switches, routing, and wireless infrastructure, and collaborate with Network Engineers on design and capacity planning.

The role requires CCNA, a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), and a proactive, team‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of Network Support experience in an enterprise environment.
• Experience supporting multi site or distributed network environments.
• Strong hands on experience with Cisco switching platforms and CLI.
• CCNA certification.
• Self-starter with a positive attitude and a passion for learning networking technologies.
• Able to respond quickly to service impacts with strong troubleshooting.
• Proactive approach to daily work and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication with management and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own operational responsibility for enterprise LAN/WAN environments across multiple sites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues involving switches, routing, wireless, and connectivity services; configure and deploy network equipment.
• Manage hardware/software problems, including installation, upgrade, repair, and removal.
• Serve as escalation resource for Network Infrastructure Support Tickets and interface with Service Desk.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure including switches, wireless APs, and edge connectivity.
• Collaborate with Network Engineers on design, capacity planning, and refresh initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve network reliability, performance, and efficiency.
• Turn up/turn down ethernet ports for internal customers and engineers.
• Maintain inventory levels and create/update network documentation and maps.
• Respond to outages per SLAs and participate in after-hours support and change approvals.
