Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy, and manage our global enterprise network. The role emphasizes hands-on configuration, performance monitoring, and incident resolution across data centers and remote sites.

Ideal candidates will have 5–7 years of experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and professional certifications such as CCNP or CCIE. This is a hybrid position requiring on-site presence 3–4 days per week with potential for increased days

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, engineering, computer science or related field; related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• 5–7 years of experience in network engineering, including configuration, troubleshooting, and support of enterprise networks.
• Professional certifications such as CCNP or CCIE are required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure across global data centers and remote sites.
• Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure high availability and reliability across time zones.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network topology, configurations, and procedures.
• Troubleshoot complex routing, switching, firewall, wireless, and inter-site connectivity issues.
• Perform firmware upgrades and configuration changes following change management processes.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, and cloud teams on integrated infrastructure projects.
