Job summary

The American Arbitration Association seeks a Financial Systems Engineer to own NetSuite administration and ensure financial data integrity across the ERP and integrations.

Hybrid work near NY headquarters; 1–2 years NetSuite experience required, GL/AR/AP knowledge, and collaboration with Accounting, IS, and Operations teams. This role offers an incentive up to 10% of salary, comprehensive benefits, and 403(b) employer contributions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience administering an accounting system in finance or accounting function.
• Prior NetSuite administration experience required; SuiteScript/SDF a plus.
• Strong understanding of GL, AR, AP, subledgers, reconciliations, and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary administrator of NetSuite, owning configuration of COA, subsidiaries, periods, roles, and core financial records.
• Apply accounting fundamentals to configure and troubleshoot NetSuite while preserving data integrity.
• Perform or oversee reconciliations between NetSuite and subledgers, banks, and other systems; resolve discrepancies.
• Manage user access, roles, and permissions in line with segregation of duties and audit needs.
