Job summary
System Soft Technologies in Montgomery, AL is seeking a Mid-Level Microsoft .NET Developer with mainframe experience to support and modernize enterprise applications in a hybrid environment. You will analyze legacy systems, develop in .NET, SSIS/SSRS, and SQL, and collaborate with analysts, DBAs, and other developers to deliver scalable, secure solutions with data integrity.
The role requires 3–7 years of software development and 3+ years in IBM mainframe environments, with familiarity of CMS
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of professional software development experience.
Responsibilities
- Analyze legacy Easytrieve applications on IBM mainframes and translate requirements into technical specs.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements and fixes for enterprise applications.
- Support batch processing, data transformations, and integration workflows.
- Develop and maintain reports and data distribution processes using SQL Server tools.
- Create and maintain ETL solutions with SSIS and data pipelines.
- Develop reporting solutions with SSRS and related BI components.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Collaborate with analysts, DBAs, and cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity.
