Advanced Systems Design is seeking an Intermediate .NET Developer in Montgomery, AL for a client project. The role requires in-person availability from day 1, with a focus on bridging legacy mainframe systems and modern Microsoft technologies.

You will analyze Easytrieve on IBM mainframe, develop in .NET, and deliver SSRS/SSIS reporting and data integration solutions in a hybrid environment. Collaboration with business analysts, DBAs, and cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of IBM Mainframe development experience.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with CMS 835/837 data formats preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze legacy Easytrieve applications on IBM mainframe.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements and fixes.
• Support batch processing, data transformation, and integrations.
• Develop and maintain reports and ETL using SSIS/SSRS.
• Write technical documentation and participate in code reviews.
• Assist in testing activities including unit/integration testing.
