Job summary

Harvard University’s Center for Nanoscale Systems (CNS) is seeking a Scientist/Engineer to independently plan and execute complex research activities in a core facility, focusing on flexible device nanofabrication and process development.

You'll teach and support researchers, maintain the soft-material cleanroom, and collaborate with nanofabrication scientists to advance hybrid device technologies while ensuring safety and quality through SOPs and proper record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline and at least two years of relevant work experience; OR seven years of related experience.
• Graduate degree plus 3–5 years of semiconductor-related work experience is desirable.
• Cleanroom fabrication experience, especially lithography, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist and train users in soft-material fabrication tools and processes.
• Support and maintain the CNS soft-material cleanroom and fabrication labs.
• Develop SOPs and documentation for the Flexible Nanofabrication Facility.
• Collaborate with CNS staff to support a broad range of flexible device fabrication projects.
