Harvard University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences seeks a Scientist/Engineer in the Center for Nanoscale Systems (CNS). You will lead teaching and support researchers in flexible device nanofabrication and process development in soft matter.

The role involves training users, maintaining facilities, and collaborating with CNS staff to advance research across Harvard. Ideal candidates have a strong background in nanofabrication, lithography, and characterization, with the ability to work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline with 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Alternatively, a minimum of seven years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Surface Science, Physics, Materials Science, Bio/Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field with 3–5 years of semiconductor-related work experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Teach and train users on soft-material fabrication tools and processes.
• Support and maintenance of the soft-material cleanroom and fabrication labs.
• Oversee safety compliance with Harvard and government regulations.
