Job summary

T&M Associates is seeking a Group Manager for our New Jersey Municipal Market. You will lead a team of engineers, oversee project deliverables, and ensure quality across a portfolio of municipal projects in a hybrid work setting based out of NJ offices.

The ideal candidate demonstrates leadership, senior project experience, and a track record in client relationships. The role requires a PE license in NJ, 10+ years in municipal/public client work, and strong proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; NJ PE license required.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience with municipal/public clients and infrastructure projects.
• NJ Professional Engineer license required.
• Strong design skills with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Proven leadership and ability to manage multiple projects and teams.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior staff and ensure group productivity and quality.
• Supervise preparation of engineering documents for municipal projects (plans, specs, estimates).
• Participate in business planning and project selection.
• Assist in generating new clients and proposals through relationships.
• Oversee multiple high-priority projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and quality.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Review site plans and zoning docs; prepare reports for boards.
• Attend municipal meetings as needed.
