Job summary

T&M Associates is seeking a motivated Project Manager to join our Community Development team in New Jersey. The role focuses on overseeing municipal project delivery, coordinating technical teams, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring projects meet schedule, budget, and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will bring a strong civil engineering foundation with leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; PE license preferred or ability to obtain.
• Experience managing municipal capital improvement projects (roads, drainage, water, sewer, parks, and public facilities).
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations for municipal engineering and public works.
• Solid understanding of stormwater management, permitting, and infrastructure asset management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, budgeting, scheduling, and team coordination in fast-paced projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage community development projects from planning through completion.
• Coordinate tasks across technical staff while maintaining accountability for execution.
• Mentor junior engineers and Assistant Project Managers.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and collaboration with construction management teams.
