• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent underwriting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel
• Hybrid or fully remote depending on the location

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new business insurance policies through solid risk analysis, pricing and servicing.
• Provides professional, timely and courteous communication and service to external clients and cross departmental staff.
• Guides staff required to process coverage requests in accordance with service guidelines.
• Adheres to underwriting authority and regulatory rules.
• Provides technical assistance to sales team and customers regarding policy and endorsements.
