Job summary

The Merrimack is seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Processor to join our Residential Lending team in a hybrid role based in Concord or Meredith, New Hampshire. You will manage mortgage loan files from application through closing and ensure documentation meets requirements, while collaborating with borrowers and internal partners.

Ideal candidates have 6–12 months of processing experience, strong attention to detail, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• Six to twelve months of mortgage loan processing experience.
• Knowledge of banking operations and loan processing.
• Ability to work with borrowers, lenders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage mortgage loan files from application through closing.
• Coordinate with borrowers, officers, underwriters and vendors.
• Review applications for accuracy and required documentation.
• Prepare disclosures and re-disclosures within required timeframes.
• Order appraisals, certifications and verifications as needed.
• Monitor loan pipeline and provide status updates.
• Maintain loan operating system and support compliance.
