Qualifications

• Experience with data science, machine learning, Generative AI through coursework, projects, research, or prior work experience.
• Proficiency in writing and testing object‑oriented Python code, with hands‑on experience using ML libraries and frameworks.
• Working knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch and experience implementing AI models.
• Knowledge of AI system design, measurement, testing techniques, SQL, and structured or unstructured data processing.
• Strong analytical and creative problem‑solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Exposure to cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and distributed computing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of advanced machine learning models and algorithms that address complex business challenges.
• Apply Generative AI techniques to fine‑tune models, support synthetic data generation and data augmentation, and engineer AI agents using commercial and open‑source large language models.
• Collaborate with domain experts, software engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable AI solutions and working applications.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, data preprocessing, and feature engineering to prepare high‑quality inputs for modeling, measurement, and testing.
• Communicate findings and technical concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences, while contributing to machine learning infrastructure, best practices, and experimentation with emerging AI techniques.
