Sephora is offering an Applied AI & Automation Internship designed to expose you to real-world AI challenges. As an Intern, you will design and build AI solutions, work with AI engineers, data scientists, and business teams to move from problem definition to a working proof of concept.

You will develop skills in Python, SQL, and ML, contribute to retrieval-augmented generation and agentic workflows, and learn how AI supports Sephora’s human-centric operating model.

Competenze

• Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, ML, AI, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field.
• Strong hands-on programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Demonstrated experience building and evaluating machine learning or deep learning models.
• Experience developing applications with LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, vector databases, tool calling, or agentic frameworks.
• Strong curiosity, technical depth, and willingness to experiment with emerging AI technologies.

• Design, train, evaluate, and iterate on machine learning models for real-world business use cases.
• Build agentic AI solutions capable of reasoning, retrieving information, using tools, and orchestrating multi-step workflows.
• Rapidly develop data science and AI proofs of concept using Python, SQL, machine learning frameworks, and enterprise data.
• Build retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, tool-calling capabilities, multi-agent workflows, and context-aware AI applications.
• Perform data exploration, feature engineering, model experimentation, validation, and error analysis.
