Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Florida Bar license in good standing.
• 4+ years of general litigation experience across a broad range of practices.
• Clerkship at federal or state supreme court is a plus.
• Prior law firm experience is a plus.
• Strong legal research, writing and analytical skills; ability to draft pleadings, motions, briefs and client communications with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative, team-oriented with ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, briefs, and other court filings.
• Support senior attorneys in case development, strategy, and client communications.
• Assist with discovery, including drafting requests and responses, and reviewing evidence.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations and trials, providing support to the litigation team.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, experts and other stakeholders.
• Review, organize, and manage case files, pleadings, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and deadlines.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
