Nelnet Business Services (NBS), a division of Nelnet, Inc., seeks a Client Services Specialist I to provide comprehensive support to merchants using NPS payment processing technology during implementation and ongoing servicing of merchant clients. This hybrid role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration, and proactive communication.

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Three years of experience in customer service or new client implementation.
• Credit card banking industry experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Review merchant applications for accuracy and ensure all required fields are completed.
• Monitor the progress of merchant setup and follow up to ensure timely activation of merchant IDs.
• Configure new merchant accounts with multiple backend systems to enable payment processing.
• Log and update Salesforce records with accurate account data.
• Answer questions related to account maintenance, statements, refunds, rates, compliance, and other merchant questions.
• Provide phone support for all NPS merchants and customers, internal and external.
• Suggest ideas for process improvements and opportunities to leverage AI and automation tools.
• Embrace and utilize AI-powered tools to streamline workflows and enhance the merchant support experience.
