Job summary

World Market in Alameda, CA is seeking an administrative Merchandising support role focused on sample management and product data. You will support the merchandising team across buying, visual, ecommerce and marketing to bring unique products to market.

The role involves creating SKUs, maintaining data in Genesis/AS400, and coordinating content for seasonal shops with a hybrid mix of office and Alameda home office work.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree preferred.
• Flexible, results driven, able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
• Proficient in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Create and set up SKUs within the Genesis system.
• Maintain SKU details in the AS400 system.
• Prepare Ecommerce line lists and coordinate vendor photography submissions.
• Assist with copy proofing and website update requests in Asana.
• Maintain attributes in the Attributes system and gather product dimensions for displays.
• Support Drop Ship stock level tracking and seasonal shop content.
• Prepare for product review presentations and help with displays.
• Generate Return to Vendor and vendor claim forms.
• Support quarterly merchandising and marketing presentations and signage creation.
• Provide ad hoc support for special projects, launches and meetings.
• Support sample organization and vendor visits.
