Job summary

KQED Inc in San Francisco seeks an On-Call Member Services Clerk to provide front-line phone and email support and to enter donor information into the master database. This temporary hybrid role involves processing member pledges and donations, and coordinating mailings to supporters.

The successful candidate will join a team dedicated to equity and community engagement, with a mix of in-house and remote work and the requirement to join NABET Local 51.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated flexibility, dependability, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Accurate and detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet programs.
• Two years direct customer service experience.
• Data entry experience.
• Typing 40 WPM.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve routine business problems received by phone or by email in an efficient manner.
• Prepare in-house donations for deposit
• Process transactions to member accounts as necessary.
• Prepare and send in-house mailings.
• Process credit card transactions
