Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in pharmacy, healthcare, managed care, or health insurance environment.
• Strong knowledge of health insurance terminology, benefits verification, and prior authorization processes.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison to obtain insurance coverage and benefits information for prescriptions.
• Initiate and resolve prior authorizations and medication refill requests.
• Communicate status and outcomes to patients, physicians, and care teams via multiple channels.
