Medi-Weightloss Algonquin is hiring a Medical Assistant / Office Coordinator for a hybrid clinical and front-office role. You will take vitals, administer IM injections, handle lab work, and manage EMR entries. The position blends patient care with scheduling, payments, and follow-up communications.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant training/certification required.
• Clinic/medical office experience preferred.
• Strong phone and patient service skills.
• Ability to learn software quickly and document in real time.
• Comfort with injections and vital signs.
• Accurate record-keeping and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clinical care: obtain vitals, administer injections, perform urinalysis, EKGs, phlebotomy, and lab work.
• Front desk & scheduling: open the clinic, check in patients, collect payments, manage appointments, and follow-ups.
• Sales & patient support: educate on injections, vitamins, shakes, and supplements; conduct follow-ups; request Google reviews.
• Closing out: reconcile payments, manage cash, submit claims, maintain inventory.
