The candidate will assist with injections, EKGs, phlebotomy, and patient documentation, while managing check-in, scheduling, and payments in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years MA experience in physician office/outpatient setting.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Ability to perform clinical and front-office duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with injections, EKGs, phlebotomy and related patient care.
• Record patient information and vital signs in the EHR.
• Document and process patient care information promptly.
• Coordinate patient care per physician direction and clinic policies.
• Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain supply levels.
• Greet patients, check-in/out, and handle scheduling and follow-ups.
• Maintain patient financial records and collect applicable payments.
