Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in medical billing.
• Familiar with medical coding terminology.
• Strong analytical and meticulous organizational skills; remote work capability.

Responsibilities

• Receive and post electronic and manual payments and adjustments.
• Review AR reports and follow up on denials and appeals with payers.
• Prepare daily claim submissions and review batch reports in the Dentrix/Athena environment.
• Maintain dashboards and reconcile cash in the Athena and Dentrix systems.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and participate in special projects as assigned.
