You will review designs, support FMEA/DFMA, create engineering drawings, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure safe, high‑quality tooling for assembly, maintenance, and inspection in extreme

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering.
• 5+ years in mechanical design or tooling engineering.
• Experience with welding tooling or remote/ automated tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate mechanical tooling and fixtures for assembly and inspection.
• Develop remote or automated systems for constrained or hazardous environments.
• Review designs with peers and suppliers for manufacturability and excellence.
• Support FMEA, DFMA, and risk assessments for critical hardware.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams for fabrication and qualification of mechanical systems.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate tool performance and repeatability.
• Create engineering drawings and specifications in line with quality and safety standards.
• Contribute to design reviews and configuration control processes.
