Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Reliability Engineer for Mechanical Systems to oversee the operational health of critical cooling systems across its campuses. The role involves reviewing submittals, factory tests, and understanding design engineering related to data center equipment.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of facility operations experience, are adept at reading drawings, and can train technicians in troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in critical facility operations and maintenance.
• Travel up to 25% is expected; role may require site visits and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Validate system performance during facility acceptance testing and startup commissioning.
• Design maintenance programs to improve operability and reliability of mechanical systems.
• Provide feedback to Design Engineering and Construction teams for reliable installations.
• Perform risk analyses, root-cause failure analysis, and availability studies.
• Support site operations with technical guidance and training.
• Analyze asset utilization and maintainability to optimize system performance.
• Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.
