Job summary

Meridia Recruitment Solutions, a KBRS Company, seeks a Mechanical Project Engineer for the Boulder/Denver area. You will lead mechanical design efforts for higher education, laboratories, and industrial projects, coordinating with electrical engineers and consultants.

Responsibilities include HVAC load calculations, equipment selection, and developing construction documents. Travel to PA HQ may be required for training or events; you will drive compliance with codes and sustainability practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of mechanical design experience in an MEP environment.
• EIT preferred; PE is an asset.
• Experience with Revit and HVAC design.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and energy standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design for higher education, lab/research, and industrial projects.
• Perform HVAC load calculations and equipment selection.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers and external consultants.
• Prepare detailed reports, specs, and construction documents.
• Ensure compliance with codes and sustainability practices.
• Participate in meetings, site visits, and construction administration.
