Job summary

K2M Design Inc. in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to our client-focused culture. The position is hybrid, based in Cleveland, OH, with travel up to 15%.

You will design mechanical and plumbing systems for commercial and public buildings, develop drawings, and perform engineering calculations. Revit proficiency is required along with a ABET-accredited bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Applied Science from an ABET-accredited college or university.
• 5+ years experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
• Revit proficiency, required.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems including heating, ventilation, cooling, exhaust, and specialty systems for commercial and public buildings.
• Design plumbing systems including gas, potable water, sanitary, sewer, fire suppression, and specialty systems for commercial and public buildings.
• Undertake assignments requiring standard engineering techniques for small projects or segments of larger projects.
• Rely on experience and judgement for design, development, implementation, and analysis of engineering designs and systems.
• Produce high quality, accurate drawings and technical specifications.
• Perform data collection, calculations, and data sheet development. Support construction administration and RFIs.
• Assist in field work and travel up to 15% as needed.
