Job summary

Lincoln Electric Automation in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design, development, and startup of automated manufacturing systems, including robotic welding cells, advanced tooling and fixtures, and integrated automation equipment used by manufacturers around the world.

The Mecahnical Engineer will participate in design, development, maintenance, and documentation of robotic automation system products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 3–5+ years in industrial automation, robotic systems, or similar.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and capable of creating cost-effective designs.
• Experience with workflow, PDM, and revision control concepts.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design for robotic automation products and projects, including system layouts and tooling.
• Implement design changes and product enhancements as directed by senior engineers.
• Maintain and modify documentation to meet customer needs.
• Create system and product documentation including layouts, drawings, and manuals.
• Collaborate with internal/external customers during the design process and post-sale support.
