The role emphasizes applying standard design techniques on small to mid-size projects, with oversight from senior staff. Responsibilities include developing design concepts, performing analyses with industry software, preparing and reviewing drawings, coordinating with owners, architects, and authorities, and helping manage budgets and schedules.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET accredited college with four years applicable experience in discipline design and analysis.
• Registered Professional Engineer
• Revit experience required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Knowledge of engineering theories and methodologies

Responsabilidades

• Begins assuming responsibility for project designs under the supervision of the EOR and within the Engineer’s control and expertise
• Develops design approaches and concepts for projects with conceptual input and oversight from EOR
• Performs specific engineering studies and other design analyses using industry software
• Oversees preparation of drawings, ensuring accuracy, and neatness of work
• Coordinates with local authorities, utilities, and municipalities to incorporate associated construction, code, and government requirements
• Develops the overall man-hour budget and creates work plans for the discipline team
• Provides input on project schedules and plans work accordingly
• Reviews shop drawings and ensures technical accuracy and completeness
